Dundee Community Youth Orchestra (DCYO) is a charity that provides opportunities for young people to continue playing in musical ensembles after they have left school, free of charge. 

 

The Dundee Instrumental Music Service allows for young people growing up in Dundee to learn an instrument in school, completely free of charge. This includes lessons throughout school, free instrument hire, and playing in orchestras and ensembles through the years. Ensemble music-making is well known to be beneficial to mental health and wellbeing and serves as a vital part of socialisation for the young people involved.
